      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add butter to bowl. Melt for 60 sec/70C/speed 2.
    2. Add remaining ingredients to bowl, mix 30 sec/speed 4.
    3. Place pan on stove and heat to medium high, brush oil across the pan.
    4. Pour a small ladle of batter into the pan, cook until batter is covered in bubbles, then flip and cook other side until golden.
    5. Serve with your favourite toppings and enjoy!

Tip

To make buttermilk, add 1 tbsp of vinegar to 250ml of milk, let sit for a few minutes and it's ready to use!

This recipe can be easily multiplied (e.g. doubled, tripled).

Make batter the night before if making pancakes for breakfast, or in the morning if making for dinner, and store in the fridge.
