Almond and oat Bliss Balls

  • 150 grams raw almonds
  • 2 level teaspoons vanilla bean extract
  • 95 grams Flaxseed, (grind to flaxmeal)
  • 95 grams organic rolled oats
  • 65 grams Shredded coconut

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Turn 150 grams of Almonds into Almond Butter
  1. > Measure 150 grams of almonds into bowl
    > Mix for 20 seconds, speeed 9.

    > Scrape down sides of bowl

    > Mix for 4 minutes, speed 5 (scraping down sides of bowl every 30 seconds)

    > Mix for 2 minutes, speed 4 (scraping down sides of bowl at 1 minute)
  2. Measure 2 teaspoons (or 10 grams) valilla bean extract into bowl
    > mix for 30 seconds, speed 4
  3. Add dry ingredients
  4. Measure into bowl
    > 95 grams flaxmeal
    > 95 grams oats
    > 65 grams shredded coconut

    > Mix for 20 seconds, Reverse, Speed 3
  5. Add wet ingredients
  6. Measure into bowl
    > 140 grams of Maple Syrup

    > Mix for 20 seconds, Reverse, Speed 3
  7. Add chocolate chips
  8. Measure into bowl
    > 120 grams chocolate chips

    > Mix for 20 seconds, Reverse, Speed 3
  9. Roll mixture into balls
  10. Roll the mixture into balls (tablesoop size) and set in the fridge for 30 minutes.

    Will keep in the fridge for up to 1 week.

    Makes 18 balls.
