  For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

  If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

Add banana, 2 eggs and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste to mixing bowl and mix 30 sec/Speed 8.

Heat a little butter in a large frying pan and drop in 1 heaped Tablespoon of batter at a time to cook a few small pancakes in 1 batch.

Once one side is cooked, flip them over and cook on the other side until well cooked through.

Serve the pancakes with some honey or maple syrup if you prefer them sweeter.
