Churro

  • 250 grams water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 100 grams Butter
  • 150 grams plain flour
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoons brown sugar
  • oil, For Frying

Recipe's preparation

    Turn a muffin tin upside down and spray with spray oil
  1. 1.Add water, salt, butter & Brown Sugar to TM Bowl

  2. 2.Cook at 100 degrees for 10 minutes on Speed 2

  3. 3.Add flour and mix for 30 seconds on speed speed 4 until mixture takes a dough like form.

    4.Allow to cool for about 5 minutes

  4. 5.Add eggs and vanilla to the mixture one at a time through the hole in the lid while mixing for 40 seconds on speed 5

  5. 6.Using a piping bag, pipe the mixture around the upside down muffin tin and then freeze completely 

  6. 7.Once frozen take off the muffin tray and deep fry

    8.Once cooled enough to touch roll in caster sugar and  serve with your favourite Ice Cream

Tip

Make sure you fry the churro basket until golden brown and has that donut look and is puffy. You will also need to hold the basket down so the middle will also cook through if you don't the churro will taste like egg.
