Ingredients

1 portion(s)

Sunshine Icecream

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Cups cream
  • 1/4 Cup Honey
  • 3 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 4 eggs
5

Recipe's preparation

    Cook
  1. Insert Butterfly and add all ingredients

  2. Cook speed 2, 90 Degrees, 10 minutes

  3. Remove bowl from thermi and let it sit to cool down for 10 minutes

  4. Freeze
  5. Pour into ice cream maker and mix for 1hr or until the mixture is ice cream consistency.

If you don't have an ice cream machine you can freeze in the freezer until solid (6-8 hrs), then take it out, break up and process in your thermi and return to the freezer.

  6. Put the ice cream mixture into the freezer for at least 2 hrs.  I like to put it into single serve molds for portion control.

If you put it in a single container microwave for 15 seconds before serving so it's soft enough to scoop out.

Not only is this recipe free from refined sugar it's good for you as turmeric is an anti-inflammatory.  Not to mention it tastes delicious.

You can replace the honey with rice malt syrup if you want ot avoid fructose completely.

Would love to make this recipe also, but was wondering like Amanda if step one was to be done twice before removing the bowl and letting the mixture cool for 10 minutes.

    TIA  tmrc_emoticons.)

This looks very interesting. I think I might try it with coconut milk and coconut cream.  I'm dairy intolerant and I'm always on the lookout for something to convert to dairy free. tmrc_emoticons.)
