- 250 g besan flour, (Indian flour)
- 15 g Self Raising Flour
- 15 g rice flour
- 1 Teaspoon tumeric
- 1 Teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 Teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 Teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 Cup water
- 420 g Edgells sweet corn kernels
- 1 small red onion
- Oil for frying

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add onion and chop 4 sec/ speed 6 set aside
Add all dry ingredients and combine 5 sec/ speed 5
Add water and combine 10 sec/speed 5
Pour into a bowl and add the onion and corn kernels, mix together and refrigerate for 30 minutes before using.
Using a ladel, Spoon the mixture into hot oil in small batches. I Do 2 at a time.
Shallow fry or deep fry until crunchy or golden brown.
Serve immediatley with a spicy relish or avocado smash

Tip
This version is relatively mild in terms of spices, I find it just right for us, but you really can try so many variations with spices here, you can add some chilli powder, garam marsala, coriander, shallots etc..
