Works well! I always keep a small piece of bread in my brown sugar to stop it going hard. It works a treat, the bread goes hard but never mouldy & just change it every few months 😜

I no longer buy brown sugar as this is so quick and easy. It is my ‘go to’ brown sugar recipe and I make a double batch of it with white sugar, each time I run out.

Great, yet another product I don't have to buy at exorbitant prices. I buy Australian raw brown sugar on special & make all my own sugar products from that. This recipe is great. I've made in larger batches & kept it a lot longer than suggested & had no problem.

Doubled the recipe and added 60 gm of molasses. Forgot to grind the raw sugar first so a bit lumpy!

Worked fantastically! I doubled the molasses and it's like store bought brown sugar - the taste, the smell and the consistency. I'm so happy I can just quickly make some now when I run out. Thank you for sharing!

Great recipe I add 25 grams
Great recipe I add 25 grams of molasses for a richer brown sugar so quick and easy and such a money saver .
What I especially love about
What I especially love about this is you can adjust your brown sugar to suit your taste exactly! I like it a bit darker, but not quite as much as the commercial dark brown sugar. This is one of those ingredients I only need sporadically, so making it in small quantities is just perfect. Yet another reason to love my TMX (not that I needed any more)!
What a fabulous idea. yet
What a fabulous idea. yet another sugar I can remove from the shopping list!
