      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Creamy Smooth Porridge
  1. Add Rolled Oats into TM and Blend on Speed 5 / 4 Seconds

    Add Milk & Honey/Maple Syrup

    Cook for 10 min/90 deg/Reverse/speed 2

    Pour into bowls and serve

Tip

Can omit Honey/maple syrup and replace with a pinch of salt if savory is preferred

Delicious with sliced banana and Cinnamon sugar on top!

Recipe can easily be doubled. Increase cooking time by 2 minutes to 12 minutes!

    I am not usually a huge fan of porridge but my kids were asking for it! This was the first normal recipe I found and it is AMAZING!!! I mixed through some frozen raspberries and blueberries and it was amazing! Thanks for sharing tmrc_emoticons.)
