      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    To Start ...
  1. Place Apricots, Dates and Coconut into bowl – Mix for 10 seconds on speed 7, then another 10 seconds on speed 10.

Empty ingredients into a lined baking tray and smooth mixture evenly to about a 2cm thickness. Place on top of the mixture baking paper and use a glass to press down mixture, rolling the glass over mixture compressing down.

Refrigerate for at least an hour to harden.

Once mixture is firm, lift out of the tin with the baking paper and cut into long logs and cut into bite sizes.

Place bites into a container, and you can add a little extra coconut (I didn’t)

    Refrigerate in an airtight container.

    Easy snacks ready to go.

Tip

I also use Cranberries, Sultanas and Apricots with a mixed combination of 250 grams, the more cranberries used the sweeter the taste.

Made these for my daughter and they are a winner! So easy! Added in some coconut oil because I thought it was crumbly- I won't do this again, it made it very hard to work with! Smile

Hi, I made these today to go into our 'Christmas goodie box', I didn't have the majool dates (not sure what type they were, but smaller) Anyway, the mix was quite crumbly, but once I pushed it into the Thermie snack mould and put it in the fridge to set, it turned out fine. Very nice and refreshing. Thanks

Very tasty and so good for you.  Look for dried apricots without sulphites for an even healthier snack.

I have made these apricot delights several times now, easy and yummy.

They are a perfect snack if you need a sweet fix anytime of the day, without the added sugar.
