Recipe is created for
TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
Firstly, individually rough chop the whole Brazil nuts, almonds, walnuts and pitted dates using Turbo/.5 Sec as many times as necessary to obtain desired choppedness. Check after each .5 seconds.
Mix all other ingredients together in a very large lidded container and add the rough chopped items, mixing well.
To serve, place from 1/3 to 1/2 cup of the dry muesli into a bowl and cover with the milk of your choice.
Cover with a microwave oven suitable anti-splash cover and mircowave for 2 minutes on high (more of you want it hotter). Carefully remove from microwave oven to avoid scalding (I use a tea towel).
Add some very hot milk if you don't have or don't like using microwave ovens.
Add chopped fruit of your choice. I like to add spoonful or two of psylium husk as well. Mix together and ENJOY!!!
Of course, feel free to personalise this recipe to include all of your favourites. If this recipe produces too much muesli then simply halve the ingredient amounts!
