Home-made Mustard (Adapted from Jamie Oliver)

Ingredients

  • 100 grams yellow mustard seeds
  • 150 grams apple cider vinegar
  • 150 grams white wine
  • 2 teaspoons Himalayan salt
  • 4 sprigs tarragon, fresh, leaves only

Recipe's preparation

  1. Describe the preparation steps of your recipe

  2. Place the mustard seeds, vinegar, white wine and salt in a glass jar with lid.  Set aside for 3 days to infuse flavours.

    2. After 3 days, strain liquid from mixture and set aside.

    3. Place remaining ingredients into TM Bowl.

    4. Add 5 tablespoons of reserved liquid.

    5. Pulse with Turbo button for 5 seconds (about 3 pulses). 

    6. Scrape down bowl and repeat several times until pureed to desired consistency, adding more liquid 1 tablespoon at a time if required.

Tip

Start recipe 3 days in advance.

Will last up to 1 month in the fridge.

    I have tried this 4 times now. And it just is wayyyyyy to vinegary. What am I doing wrong. I follow recipe exactly.
