  • 1 litres UHT lactose free milk
  • 120 grams milk powder
  • 50 grams raw sugar
  • 30 grams vanilla essence
  • 100 grams Cream lactose free
  • 170 grams Greek yoghurt lactose free pot set

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Preparing to ferment stage
  1. Empty milk into the bowl
    heat to 45 degrees roughly 3 mins speed 3
  2. Once at 45 degrees add
    milk powder
    sugar
    vanilla
    Cream
  3. Mix everything through so it's all dissolved.

    set time at 2 mins set heat at 45 degrees on speed 3
  4. Check to see that the ingredients have dissolved.

    add the pot set yoghurt.

    mix through 2 mins 45 degrees speed 3
  5. Go into settings and click on fermentation mode
    leave 8 hours change temp to 45 degrees and turn the dial to start.
  6. After 8 hours put yoghurt into jars and into the fridge.

    you can save some of your yogurt as a starter for the next lot of yoghurt you make.

Tip

ensure you do a vinegar wash of your bowl.
1 litre water
50 mils vinegar
turn the kettle on.

rinse and wipe dry with a clean tea towel

When opening your uht milk pierce the top of the carton with a knife and the milk won't splash.
