The best of all the poached egg ecipes. Simpler, faster, same result. A little bit of egg gets stuck in the shell when you do the TMX way so if you'd prefer not to be wasteful the traditional way of poaching is best, but this is slightly easier.

I was very dubious but the comments convinced me to give it a go. Wow! 16 mins from the fridge (will do 16.5mins next time, 2 of the 4 eggs had slightly runny whites) and no mess to clean up. Came out nearly perfect. I'm converted!

Submitted by Toni Taylor - Cooking Is My Therapy on 29. January 2015 - 12:02.

Hi. Very new to Thermomixing. Have the TM5 & just tried Poached Eggs out of Basic Cookbook. and now I'm here looking for better  tmrc_emoticons.;)

I am going to do our eggs this way next time. Just looking for suggestions with time. I like my eggs with cooked white but runny yolk. My hubby likes his eggs white & yolk firm but not hard. What time variance could you suggest before I add my eggs (and obviously I'd  have to mark them somehow).

    thanks in anticipation tmrc_emoticons.)

Had these again for brekky, remembered to take the eggs out of the fridge last night so we would get perfect eggs this time! Fantastic and so much quicker than the 60 minute 60 degree eggs and a better result IMO. Bacon and tomato on the bbq and we had a winner!
