      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Poo-Licious Formula
  1. add 120g Linseeds, 60g Chia Seeds, 10g Rooibos Leaves to Bowl Blend1 minute speed 9
  2. add 20g Psyllium Husk, 10g Slippery Elm, 1 tbsp Cinnamon, 1tsp Lucuma, 1tsp Ginger
  3. Blend30 seconds speed 7
  4. Transfer to jar (using jam funnel or Thermomix lid for ease) store in airtight container in fridge

Tip

Mix 1 Tbsp with 250ml liquid of choice (I use orange juice) if you leave to sit it will thicken I prefer it as a drink before it thickens but it can be taken anyway. I also add a tbsp of Flaxseed oil to my orange juice for additional omega benefits and ease of bowel momement.

This is all food so can take as much or as little as needed. I find a daily dose ensures enough fibre and can be used for kids as well as adults.

Mix it in with smoothies or other recipes for added fibre such as pancakes, piklets etc.
