Can I use a different oil? Like sesame oil or macademia oil?

    Submitted by CinieCooking on 2. September 2015 - 11:51.

Makes so much! I made this the first weekend I got my Thermomix and I've used it for all my Hommus demos and for making Hommus for my friends/family. Much nicer than the store bought one. Going to have to make some more this weekend!

  • Brilliant! I needed some

    Submitted by digibron on 13. July 2014 - 13:38.

Brilliant! I needed some tahini to make hummus today but I didn't want to buy a whole jar because I never use it all. Instead I used this recipe to whip up a small batch (60g sesame seeds and about 30g EVOO by the end). Thank you!

  • Is there any reason that

    Submitted by JMRainbow on 27. April 2014 - 17:15.

Is there any reason that you've chosen to use vegetable oil? Would EVOO work? I am not a fan of vegetable oils as they can be quite toxic. Do you think EVOO would make it successfully?
