I tried a few variations and my son likes the best just the rice, water and a pinch of himalayan salts. I prefer some cocnut oil added to my milk.I strain it in a light cloth. Also adding more filtered water helps.

Thanks for your post. Our best advice is to strain the rice milk through a nut milk bag, this way no lumps or pulp will get through and the consistency will be as what you would expect of a dairy free milk.

hi, i have followed the recipesin the vegetarian cookbook, and added soem stevia and vanilla, but the texture is not right. i have sieved the milk and its still a bit thick and the kids dont like it.

please help with suggestions and variations Puzzled as we are dairy egg and nut free and am really looking forward to saving some money by making my own!!!
