Forum iphone application
Yes, when is the Android app coming???????
Just need it released in Android now - not all of us love apples
oh... add in 'flipboard'. Flipboard is a neat 'reading' app for various content. You can aggregate your fave sites rss feeds, integrate facebook, twitter, and others. It's nice, and it's free.
Eg you could create a section with all your fave recipe sites in it by adding your rss feeds to google reader, then linking your 'reader' feed in to flipboard.
(note, I have nothing to do with flipboard, I just love it, i do everything in it, and it's a free app). Just hopefully providing some useful info!
just quietly... I'm a tech junkie haha

WOW...that sounds interesting...going to check it out. Thanks
Hi Tali,
I am sure we can all figure this out together!! From what I have seen the app is very user-friendly and the staff will happily be the ginea pigs for you... I am sure with practice you will be fine
..what about us technologically challenged android users?
Great news!!!
We will be releasing an official iPhone app on the 14th of September that will feature all the great recipes in our 'My Way of Cooking' cookbook.
So 'WATCH THIS SPACE" and stay tuned for more information coming to you shortly...

ipad apps for sure. I sit my ipad on a 'cookbook stand' in the kitchen regularly when cooking, it's brilliant!..
epicurious, evernote, and just 'web' pages. I'd love to have the TM cookbook that came with my TM on my iPad.. mmm
I have RoboGourmet's Italian version iRobot and I think it is for TM 21, however, recipes are easy to convert.
Hi MonPo, is the RoboGourmet for TM 21 or 31?
Thermomix Explorer for iPad is now called Recipe Explorer for iPad, for copyright reasons, but it is none the less useful for that.
An iPhone version is also nearing completion.
As these apps will be on sale in over 80 countries with many different languages and tastes the database does not provide prepackaged recipes, although the app does still ship with automatic subscriptions to many popular Thermomix recipe sites.
Regards,
Joc
There is a new iphone app out in English - from the same developers as the Italian one except the name has changed from iRobot to RoboGourmet. It launched last week with 200 recipes but they say they are aiming for 1800 (which is what the Italian version has) - they are just staging the development.
There is a new iPad app available - Thermomix Explorer for iPad which does all of those things mentioned and more:

for more info and full-size screenshots.

There are 3 iPhone apps that are more or less related to ThermoMix -
1) iRobot: Ricettario - ~1800 recipes for TM21 in Italian - easy to convert to TM 31; available for iPhone and iPad
2) CookBook - Index of recipes (not recipes themselves!) for searching recipes by ingredients, contains already one TM book - Everday Cooking for TM 31. Users can add their own. I have already contacted the deveoper suggesting among other things adding other TM books.
3) Cheeef - iPhone companion of the Spanish website - http://www.cheeef.com/, which contains also recipes for TM.
If you know of any other apps (iPhone, or any kind of apps) please let us know.

Hi Crisu,
Can you perhaps privately forward me these iphone app details? We would love to have a look at them...thanks
iPhone app is not just a good idea - it's absolutely necessary. A bit like being able to shop online for Thermo accessories and books....................... I love my Thermomix but the lack of online shopping and an app is a definate negative for me. This new website is definately a step forward.
Yes, pleeeease!
I have couple of apps already but one is in Italian and the other one is recipe index, but no recipes themselves...
There are some iphone apps out there already. I know Evernote has one and maybe Jamie Oliver. Not sure if you can add to them or if you just get what they already have loaded.:)
Definately waiting for this one to be activated!!
Oooooh ... now that's an idea I'd definitely go for.
Something that stored favourite recipes, ingredient lists, pantry contents and shopping list ... would allow for not only easier grocery shopping but menu planning, too.
I would love it ..
A cookbook that would generate a 'shopping listing of ingredients to purchase' for your meal planning!!
GREAT idea
Can't wait for it!!!
My husband already calls the Thermie the 'i-cook' and an iphone app would be a way of getting him (possibly) to attempt to use it
I think an iphone application would be a great idea. I'd definitely use it.
All I can say is; Great idea…and all will be revealed! :)
Just wondering how much support there would be for an iphone application?
The benefit of an application would allow people the chance to research recipes, even build recipes via ingredient base , pantry checker ect, from the their phones.
Searching the safari is sometimes hard to read, I think it would be fantastic.
I would be keen to know what peoples thoughts are
Sorry I am only new here
