Forum Recipe on your Ipad and Iphone.....
I know it's a great little program and I wouldn't have known about it at all if it wasn't for Pozitiv. I still use pages on iPad and iPhone quite a bit though because I am still converting my odd recipes and I also change other recipes to suit myself and my partner.
Yes it sure does :)
I also use The app paprika. I am slowly adding all of my old handwritten recipes into it. So easy to use and always on hand to look up recipes and add ingredients into the shopping list no matter where I am as it is synced to my iPhone and iPad.
Re taking a picture of a recipe: I have done the same MontoMum, I would rather do that than use a book :)
I email them to myself (including TMX recipe community), and open them in GoodNotes. Very easy and my ipad fits perfectly in my recipe holder. I still use my EDC if I'm using a recipe in that, and all my other cookbooks when required though. I did take a picture of my favourite muffin recipe yesterday morning and used that instead of a huge cookbook on the bench.
I use Food Planner app for my meal plans, have to input all ingredients though and it works very well and can be sync'd between ipad and iphone (paid version only I think).
I have already added a few of my recipes into Paprika. It will suit me for what I need once I have all my recipes in there. Good app, Pozitiv :)
You made it sound great Pozitiv, so I read the reviews on iTunes and decided to buy it and give it a go, thanks.
Does it work wit recipes from our community recipe forum? Or are they formatted differently? I like the way it has a monthly re ipe planner!
I use my iPad for all recipes and have done away with books. You can download the app Paprika onto your tablet, computer and phone. Drag and drop any recipe from the internet, including photos. The computer, phone and tablet easily sync. Includes grocery lists, meal planning and more. So easy!
I do a screen clip of the one I want then put it in the folder called recipes in pictures that sync onto both the iphone and ipad. I also like to copy and paste recipes onto word then email to ipad which then opens in pages so I am able to edit it if I make any changes.
To many books, not enough space to put them so ipad is my preferred option now for recipes.
Or you could take a screen shot on your iPad and it will be saved in images!
I just download them to my computer then email them to myself. Easy, so I can have any recipe on my ipad.
You can cook whatever you want and make your day by good food, Now you can learn new recipe from your ipad as well as your iphone also......
I learned many recipe form ipad what you learned ?
