Forum EDC gluten free bread recipe - desperately need help.
Hi Sarah,
I've made thus bread a couple of times and both times it has worked perfectly, so I would assume it is because you have used acacia gum. I used xanthum gum, which I found in Coles in the Health food section.
The mixture isn't doughy like a normal bread more like a batter for a cake mix. Have you cooked it? If so how did was it once baked?
Hope that has helped you.

Hi there,
I've just got my thermomix which I bought because of hubby's gluten intolerance. I have tried to make the gluten free bread recipe twice now and both times it doesn't look doughy at all, more like a runny pancake mixture! I checked the you tube video and it is meant to be doughy. I even measured the ingredients on my other scales just to make sure. I'm getting so frustrated, I have no idea why it isn't working!!
The only thing I can think of is that I had to use acacia gum instead of xanthum because I didn't have it in my pantry (I Google it though and it said acacia is a good substitute).
Does anyone have ANY ideas on what I may be doing wrong?
Thanks Sarah
