oh, I'm going to order oils for scrub online with a discount (http://nutritionsguru.com/ ), maybe somebody will order some stuffs too.
btw, should I add oils to scrub? or it would be better to use it after?

The most important thing in a relationship is a aspiration both sides to save them, in spite of the difficulties

Oh I would love to know this too as it's something I really want to do!
I did however see a book full of thermie body recipes on book depository if anyone wants to look that up.

@melissa280979 Do you have the recipe for your coffee scrub I could try please? Smile

I agree there should be a lotions and options but I guess it's a duty of care cause using chemicals etc and how people can react differently to certain products.http://www.holidayairportparking.co.uk/

Same! ☝I'd love a scrub recipe using mint (and coffee) if anyone has ideas....

I have used mine to make soap, I made the lye solution in a separate heatproof plastic container but I used it to blend it to trace. I agree there should be a lotions and options but I guess it's a duty of care cause using chemicals etc and how people can react differently to certain products etc

as for a sugar scrub i use caster sugar melted coconut oil and then add a few drops of ess oil, I prefer lavender cause it's pretty safe to use and my hubby is pretty sensitive. You have to very careful with ess oils so research!

That is very strange!  Maybe it is a perceived (or real?) liability issue? Puzzled

I'm surprised that Thermomix don't allow a seperate section for personal care recipes. I sold my Bellini thermo cooker on Gumtree so I could upgrade to the Thermie. The young lady who bought it needed it to make natural creams and remedies for her partner who suffered psoriasis. She was excited to pick it up and start 'blending' her brews. Obviously there is an active market in this area. I wonder if there are perceived risks to the Thermomix brand because people who post recipes might make therapeutic claims.

My recipe has been removed, unfortunately.  Seems we are not allowed to have personal care recipes on the forum. Aw

I would love to know thus too

Has anyone had any success making salt or sugar body scrub in their thermomix. I'm looking for recipes or hints for making a good body scrub using lemon or mint or anything that smells yummy.
