It should work, however Thickend cream would have worked better Smile It could be tht the container you are using is very deep so will take longer to set.


I have just checked on my first batch of ice cream that I am making and its been in the freezer for 3 and 1/2 hours.  It hasn't set.  I might have chosen the wrong cream.

The recipe states " 500gms of full fat pouring (whipping) cream"  I used Farmers Union Pura Pure Cream.  Its says on the packet it is an all natural cream perfect for whipping.

Should I have gotten the thickened cream?  Help please.
