Member mar-x has posted a few sous vide recipes (salmon and egg) and mentioned in the comments section that he had made sous vide steak in the TM and that it takes a few hours.  if you search his recipes and then click on his username it will take you to his profile. you can send him a message from there if u are keen.

 Also, I read an interesting article on serious eats website. its written by a guy (Kenji) who has done a lot of research and testing on cooking sous vide. I'm sorry i cant seem to paste the link using my tablet, but if you google sous vide steak in ice box the article will come up top. He has provided an in depth guide for cooking sous vide meats in his esky!  Im going to try this one day!

Hi everyone I'm new to the Thermomix Family and was wondering if you can sous vide steak? If so what would the setting be and time frame at all? Any help is muchly appreciated.
