What state are you from ratbag?

Update on mine.... Ordered 21st of October close date of the 24th of October (this is the date they go off) I recieved my Thermi on Sunday 29th of November 5 weeks and 5 days after I placed my order! Dispite all the hardship... having  a rough time with my first consultant... my new consultant who took over my order, delivered my machine etc has been amazing and was able to make me feel more confident in the process with just a little communication. I think most of the problems could be solved with better communication...

On a positive note: Moby my thermi arrived safley, is working perfectly and is just amazing...

WA, in the city

Yerplastic, which state are you in?

5w tomorrow and still nothing Aw

I ordered 30 October.  I also rang Perth office yesterdayand as I'm in Tassie mine will be coming from Victoria.  Victoria is currently processing 22nd October so I won't be seeing mine for at least another two weeks (if not longer) which will take it to at least a 6week wait.  I am now getting really annoyed that some are getting theirs within three weeks.  If everyone was waiting the same time I wouldn't be upset.  I paid for mine the day it was ordered and it seems morally wrong Thermomix are getting interest on my money.  Not happy at all with customer service and worried what will happen in future if I have an issue.

Yes good Question.

I Just received my "your order is processed email. I placed my order on 31st October and I'm in qld.

I'm getting excited. Ordered mine on 29 October and I can't wait for a very merry Thermomixin' Christmas. Hubby can't wait to make cocktails!!

I called the Perth office yesterday. I was told they are processing orders received on the 28th of October.

from my understanding it depends on which warehouse your item is coming from... there are 3 throughout australia and they are all processing orders at different rates. Those who are only waiting 3 weeks would be coming out of the warehouse that is running ahead of the others... communication is key and should be paramount in any business model... it seems that it is the one thing Thermomix Australia is lacking... an automated e-mail system would be a great way to keep customers informed... I understand that your consultant is there to help you but if we all called our consultant everytime we needed an update it would have to take at minmium 3 phone calls to get the information that way... 1 call her she calls head office then calls me back.... it's just not a well thoughtout system....

It would be professional of Thermomix to keep customers updated regularly.  I paid for mine on 30 October and although consultant said to expect 8 week delivery, reading posts that others have theirs in 3 weeks is annoying.  Thermomix, how are you determining who gets theirs when?

Ordered 17 Oct.  Still waiting.  Why some people only waiting 3 weeks and others longer?  How do they decide who is getting theirs first even when they ordered after you?

I am still waiting as well ( ordered 28th Oct). I have had no emails from thermomix about processing paper work or wait times other than from my consultant when I ordered, but I paid in full. Not sure if that makes a difference. It is good to read that some people are getting them a bit early gives me hope for a pre Christmas delivery.

We paid on the 28th of Oct and still no cigar. That's over ratbag's 3w. I wonder if timing depends on which city you're in?

Received my new TM5 today. What I surprise.  I've only waited 3 weeks, was expecting a 6 - 8 week wait. So thrilled.

Hey Nansi.... my consultant didn't explain all that 2 me and it has taken a fair few phone calls and e-mails to get that infomation... not that it's my consultants fault... they only recently changed the way they deal with finance customers so she wasn't aware..... I have an e-mail from thermomix today stating that my order is still 2 weeks away from even being processed (ie paperwork going to once) so I guess I am still 3 weeks away from recieving my machine which will put my wait to 7 weeks total... I am at 4 weeks now....

oh gosh how wonderful your machine is one its way! Le me know how you get one with it!!!

I ordered and paid in full only 1 week ago,  is the delivery time still 6-8 weeks?  Or is there a possibilty that it may come before Christmas?? Wink

It doesn't Naomi. The only difference your finance is not charged to your Once credit card until within 7 days of delivery. If you pay by standard credit card, it is charged immediately. My friend ordered hers & paid by CC 4 days before me. She received hers yesterday & mine is being delivered Saturday

Hi Claire. I went for finance too & was approved on 17th October. My consultant said Thermomix would email me the invoice & receive payment from Once, only when it was within 7 days of dispatch i.e. they cannot charge your Once card until close to delivery time. That might be the confusion. My machine arrived this week & is being delivered this Saturday so approx 4-5 weeks. It seems they are getting through the deliveries quickly now. I am sure you will have your machine in the next few days.

I was approved for finance on the 21st of October and my paperwork is yet to be finalised! I was told that if anything it should speed it up as Once requres the delivery of the goods in a certain time frame..... it would seem thermomix have made their way around this by holding back paperwork! I am just so frustrated by the way they have been handeling my order. I have an e-mail stating that my paperwork won't be processed til the end of next week or the following week.... so in short 4 - 5 weeks after I ordered my machine which is when others have already recieved there's my paperwork that Once is waiting on my actually move from someones desk and into the hands of Once so my order can be processed.... who knows how long after that happens I will recive my machine.

From Hobart: ordered and paid for Oct 13. Arrived Monday and getting delivered tonight!.. so 5 week waiting time for us.

Can anyone tell me how finance  affects delivery time?

Oh how frustrating Bronners! I just got an e-mail from thermomix stating that my paperwork won't even be finalised for another 2 weeks which is INSANE! that will be 9 weeks after I placed my order so who knows when I will actually have my thermomix! This is crazy..... So very disapointed! Aw

Also ordered in 12/10 & told 5-8 weeks. Arrived today so under 5 weeks. All good - have cooked dinner, dessert and morning tea all since coming home from work. I'm impressed.

Hi gdddavis76, we're happy to advise the warranty period has been extended by 2 months to cover the extra delivery time frame. Thanks for your patience - Thermomix is worth the wait!

Great work Thermomix Australia.  That is much appreciated.

Any updates on delivery time? I order my thermomix (paid in full) on the 28th Oct and was told 8 wks. I have everything crossed for before Christmas, as I too am having the family lunch at my house with no blender or food processor(both have died). Am I being unrealistic to hope it will come before?

Ordered 12/10 and told 6-8 weeks however thermie arrived TODAY! Exactly 4 weeks to the day so very happy people in our household this evening!

hooray!! My new Thermie is coming on Thursday!!

6 weeks from when I ordered it!!

Thermomix Head Office

I know how you feel Ohnonaomi.  I ordered mine on 24 October, paid in full and was told 4-6 weeks so I've been searching the recipe community for interesting recipes to try out for Christmas day.  Here's hoping it actually does arrive before Christmas!

I ordered on 31st October and am Crossing my fingers for a pre christmas delivery. Especially as i am hosting Christmas this year and can see a million uses for it. I'm pinning and collecting Receipes like crazy.

gddavis76 you have a point there - when ordering it does state that the warranty is extended one month to "cover the additional time taken for delivery" but technically shouldn't warranty kick in from when the item is actually delivered?

I ordered on the 16th of October so will be heading into four-week-wait territory as of next week but haven't received my TM5 as yet (not that I was expecting to as I was quoted 6-8 weeks delivery turnaround).

So still patiently waiting!

Ive been waiting for 3 weeks and like you I'm not big on patience either.  I'm not so much bothered about been charged for it already as I did agree to it but I am less than impressed that my warranty period has already begun. I don't know of any other product that begins its warranty period prior to delivery (including cars), I'm curious about how this meets Australian consumer laws. Either way not a great start. And yes I am aware of the one month extension,  however this does not make up fully for the delay.

Ordered mine on the 3rd Nov, paid up front which I dont think makes any difference, I guess it will come when its ready, people just need to be patient, more exciting when it finally arrives.

My Thermomix is due to arrive tomorrow after a 6 week wait.  The main issue I have with this is that the Consultant originally told me 2 weeks and charged my credit card for the total amount.  I believe that this is morally wrong.  I have just purchased a new car and was only expected to pay a 4% deposit until delivery!

That is great TLSmid that you only had to wait 5 weeks when ordering on the 12th of October.

I am wondering if anyone else has had word on their orders placed in October and if the 6-8 weeks quoted is still accurate or if we might by chance get an early Xmas surprise?!

Ordered 12 October and told was dispatched yesterday with 7-10 days to arrive in Darwin so will be under 5 weeks. Was told 5-8 weeks so happy with that if it arrives next week  Smile

Hi!  I ordered mine mid-September and received it just last week (28th October).  When I ordered it I was advised by Thermomix that it would be 4-6 weeks wait time... it's well worth the wait though!  :)

I received mine on Sunday but I paid back in August. My consultant said the wait times are down to about 3 week now.

Has anyone got their Thermomix recently?

i ordered a month ago on 3 October & there is no sign of it. I'm not good at patience!!

more than 2 weeks ago they said on this forum, that they were processing orders from mid September, but I haven't seen anything since.

I really dint don't understand how you can be charged on your credit card for a product they know they wont be delivering for a long time. It may be legal, but is morally wrong. I'm not feeling confident at all that this how the company opeRates.
