Forum Delivery time for TM5

Hi all.
New to the forum so please be nice :)
Was wondering if anyone might be able to provide me with some assistance - I ordered the tm5 on finance on 2 Dec and was just notified that it has now been approved. In accordance to their ads/posts on the main website and on fb, you had to have placed your order either via the 6 or 11 of Dec for guaranteed Christmas delivery.
My consultant is lovely however she hasn't got any updates so I rang head office who basically told me that I wouldn't be getting my machine before Christmas. Not only that, she actually didn't know how to respond after I mentioned the advertised Christmas delivery guarantee. She just told me that once it's approved, it goes through a 24-48 hr picking stage and then despatch which may take 7-10 days to get to you consultant.
Can anyone help me or comment on this situation? Has anyone else bought the machine on finance prior to the 6th or have you purchase the machine outright before the 11th and still have no delivery update?
I'm still praying I'll get the machine before Christmas however I can't help but feel disappointed that this may not happen.

To answer this question, incase others are curious.
No, getting the invoice does not mean that it has been sent. Haha, still waiting, not long now though I am told!

ohhhh wow... didnt realise it would take so long.... bugger I was thinking I would get mine within a week... from all these posts im guessing I shouldnt hold my breath

32 days since ordering and still no word. Thermomix Australia should be ashamed of the ridiculously long delivery times. Paid in full the day ordered and Thermomix have had no hesitation in getting bank interest on my money. Bit of a rort.

woohooo, got notification that it has been dispatched and will be delivered on Thursday night. That's 18 days from order to delivery. I can't wait! then I can start trying out some of the recipes I have been saving and contribuitng to the forums I've been stalking!

Got mine yesterday! Melbourne delivery, 24 business days, very happy. My consultant made the veggie stock, which smells amazing, then I made custard, risotto, and vitality truffles. All yum! This morning I got up early and made more custard, american pancakes, porridge and a protein shake. Pity I had to go to work, otherwise I would still be cooking.

My consultant messaged me today saying that my thermo has been dispatched and she should deliver it to me on Tuesday! Very excited!

After my post the other day asking about when a consultant will contact me (i didn't go to a demo, I just ordered it online and didn't have a consultant) Thermomix and a consultant rang on Wednesday. The consultant said that they were up to doing deliveries for the 6th and said that mine should be delivered around next Friday or the wekeend (I ordered on the 12th) that will be 3 weeks for me.

Don't know what 'processing' means but my consultant said shouldn't be too long now. Let us know if you hear anything from your consultants

I know, the waiting is almost painful! I've been looking up comments, reviews and recipes everyday. Haven't ordered any cookbooks yet. Will see how i go with the basic cookbook first :)
