HI Thermomix.  Had my device for 72 hours and already have error code C150 and it won't turn on or work.  Also had error code C 149 on Day 2.  Extremely disappointed.  Just wanted to post this so everyone else can see that brand new customers are having problems.  Such a shame to not even have this a week before problems.  Please contact me asap

Got my machine back quicker than expected - however it is now making some strange noises, a fifty hertz hum which sounds like a transformer humming and a definite noise at the end of shutdown.  Not sure if these are due to the new firmware or something else.

Please comment.

Glad I'm not the only one with problems. First machine went back because the scales wouldn't settle to 000 . Didin't even get to keep the first machine .replacement was here within 10 days.. 2 weeks in I get C150, so contacted my consultant, who is very nice and offered a machine for Easter, but I will make do. I'm guessing it has to go back going by all the same problems listed here. Have to agree with majority, you wouldn't really expect these problems when you pay so much for the damn thing.

No hot X buns in my house in the morning now.   Aw   :(( :((

Do the machines get fixed or will i get another one.....3rd machine lucky I hope 


I managed to get 6 weeks out of my machine beofre getting this error code, which was proceeded by numerous check lid sensor errors.  I love my machine but am extremely disappointed that I will now be without it for up to 6 weeks - 5 to 7 working days to get from Hobart to Perth, 10 to 14 working days for it to be fixed and 5 to 7 days return shipping.  The local service agent isn't taking any more work - hopefully he isn't flat out doing Thermomix repairs.

It would appear that this c150 code is a known fault of the TM5, so it is a little diappointing that Thermomix Australia choose to use snail mail for service shipping.

It would be nice to receive compensation of this inconvience - hint, hint.  As I said I love my machine and will be experiencing extreme withdrawals having to wait for its return.

I hope it doesn't get damaged on the return leg like another poster mentioned on this thread that her's did.

Good machine, pathetic repair service - my consultant said that it would be serviced locally.

On the hint, hint - it is extremely disappointing that you can't get another bowl and blade set for the TM5 yet.

I still haven't heard when I can expect my machine back.  I sent customer service a message and got a very blunt message about it taking up to 10 working days.  I haven't even received confirmation that they have received it! The annoying thing is that this happened before new years and becasue of the holidays I had to wait for pickup until 2/1.  $2k for a machine that works for 4 weeks and then takes forever to get repaired.  Not so sure it was a good idea anymore. Aw

 


Hello my thermomix did a code 150 tonight I got told it could b the handles are not locking probably but

I will find out tomoro whn I take it in I got told they fix it on the spot....


I'm still waiting ..... I have not heard from Thermomix yet.  The machine went in on Friday 2nd. 


i havent had any issues at all since getting mine back Smile


My machine broke Sunday, was picked up Tuesday and received again on Monday. I've had no problems since, it's been working perfectly. I'm a very happy customer again. Good luck anyone who had this issue I was told they just needed to do a simple adjustment 


did you get a replacement machine?


  My thermomix got the c150 code after about 4 weeks of use. It happened on christmas eve in the middle of making the orange and almond cake.  I did not have the big box as i threw it all out and so I took it in myself to glen Iris .  I am really worried that it will keep having problems. I do love the machine and used it multiple times every day...  What happens when the 2 year warranty ends and I start having problems with it. It might cost so much to repair.


I have boxed my machine up and it will be collected tomorrow.  Feeling a little sad.  Just glad that I kept the box! Hopefully this will be the last problem with the machine.  I really got used to cooking with it realised how much I love this machine. I feel anoyed though as I am back to work next week and had hoped to do some more cooking while at home.


Yes mine had that 'check lid sensor' error right from the start. l thought it must be normal but I  don't get that message at all since its been fixed. 


Yup lid sensor fault - did you guys have a msg popping up saying check it but where able to clear ok? i got that for a few days before it shut down with the C150 - i suggest calling the service people asap they will process it straight away for you... when i told my consultant she filled in the paperwork and told me repsonse time was 24-48hrs When i called they did it instantly Smile

 


Mine was a problem with the lid sensor. Not sure if theyre all the same.


Hi Did you find out what a C150 error is?  I have one now and my machine is 3 weeks old.  I have contacted my rep and she said that it will have to be picked up Aw  I was part way thru making butter chicken and had planned to make eggs benedict for breakfast - I guess that won't be happening.

My machine only 2 weeks old has just come up with the C150 error too. I'm really disappointed that something could happen so soon and I'm supposed to be making a heap of Christmas stuff in it! Hope the replacement comes quickly but I doubt it!!!


I am also getting an error message C150. I've only had the machine since Friday. I am waiting on a call from the service team. Is there a number I can call? I am very disappointed and expected a lot more considering the wait and money paid.

everytime I use my machine more then

40mins

Give the service team a call - my machine was sent fixed and returned easy as - it's why they have warranty

I had this error when my machine first arrived and it had to be sent off to the service department to be fixed. They said it was a problem with the internal sensors needing adjusting. Fortunately it's been fine since. 


Ive had the same error come up on my screen too - my consultant tells me she has logged an enquiry - What happened with your machines?


I've just got same error. Emptying the buttermilk and when I went to put bowl back in TM5 had come up with C150 error.

What was the fault and how has it been fixed?

Not happy!

I have had my machine for three days and have now had an error code C150 and then the machine shuts down, has anyone else experienced this and knows what it may be ? 

Will be be very disappointed if my machine needs to go back Aw
