Thank you for your message. A couple of ways you can combat the mince being too fine is:
- use a fattier mince as this takes longer to break down in the cooking process.
- mince your own meat.
- their are a couple of recipes on Recipe Community where customers cook their mince in the basket. If you try one of these recipes read the customer comments as they can have some handy tips as well.

Hi
I have had my thermy for a month and loving it. The only issue I have is all the mince recipes have turned out very fine and just taste different to pan fried mince. Any suggestions to combat this? I have followed the recipe of putting the mince straight onto the blades and putting on 1 and reverse?
