One of the reasons I'm so excited about receiving my thermo is the amount of time and energy we can save. I would never have dreamed of making a lot of these recipes normally; I just stuck to simple stuff, but now, I'm feeling confident making just about every recipe I read using the Thermo even eventually experimenting completely on my own without the aid of a recipe. I so so can't wait until mine arrives; did I mention that?

Last night, I was practising TM cooking (aka having fun) and made Chick-Pea Soup in the bowl at the same time as Warm Chicken and Pumpkin Couscous Salad in the Varoma. When one of my daughter's friends popped for a catch-up chat, I was able to turn it into impromptu lunch for four, followed up with the Rhubarb, Apple and Strawberry [breakfast] recipe from EDC (or should I say the frig) and a good swirl of Fruity Dream from the freezer. Yum! I didn't lift a finger. This would never have been possible in the old days. Yay - my daughter was proud of me. Thank you, Thermomix.
