I have the same problem, only had my TM5 for a month and coming up with this 143 error so can't use my machine anymore. Have sent emails and contacted my consultant who has lodged a service request but still waiting on a response. Very disappointed that there are these problems so early on!

Mine has just done the same thing. I have had it for 3 weeks. Have left a message with my consultant but I think I will call thermomix in the morning if I haven't heard back from her.

Hi everyone
I received my TM5 on Friday evening, and barely 24 later I got an error '143', and the arms won't lock, and the bowl seems to wobble when it's in place (I'm not sure if this is normal?). So, after very bare minimal use, I cannot use my machine. We've tried many suggestions, with no luck..My consultant will place a service report tomorrow. Has anyone else had this issue? To say we are extremely disappointed is an understatement!
