Hi,

Just a query about how sensitive the scales are to being decalibrated.

We were told at delivery never to drag the unit across the benchtop because it could damage the scales. Certainly fair enough and we don't do that if we ever need to move it. I have noticed though that when making doughs the unbalanced weight of the dough as its being kneaded often causes the thermomix to 'creep' across the benchtop on its own. It can rotate/ move a fair distance (20-30 cm). 

Is this likely to be an issue for the scales?

I saw slideboards being advertised somewhere but thought they were more gimmicky then of substance - but I could see it might help with this.
