Forum Tomato Sauce

 Hi Tas, I alternate beween the recipe in your EDC AND the My Way of Cooking book. both are family favourites. i am waitinig for my tomatoes to grow so i can get some yummy home grown tomatoes to make another lot. bought ones are ok but dont have the flavour. i had to cut back on the sugar using home grown. the one in the MWOC is spicier than the EDC so if its for kids maybe they would prefer that one. i prefer the MWOC recipe but it has a few more ingredients. experiment till you  get it how you like it. Making tomato sauce sold me on the Thermomix cause i used to do it in a big pot on the stove which took 8 hours to cook and then i would have to  put through a Mouli ? to get all the skin out. its soooo easy in the TM
