Help I have a C153 error and my custard is stuck in the machine.
Really? Oh well when the welcome kit to my "Overpriced Magnet of the Month" club arrives just toss it in the rubbish. Shame actually because this month's magazine was all about how a cook-key can be re-fashioned into a sandle using only the cook-key, a length of yard, and some ordinary house hold bleach.
I wish you all the best with your future Thermie joy and can assure you that my jealousy will not affect our friendship..... I'm certainly not praying for a power surge that runs down the cord and blows your machine up. Nah, just joking really. I'm glad you got it working
Joy ... not sure what I did (other than resetting both the Thermomix and Cook Key and a few colourful expletives) but it is now working and synchronized ... *doing the Irish Jig*. Mission accomplised! May the force be with you Scotti ... I felt your pain.

Well ... I happened to be in Costco when I received/read your response and didn't realise I was literally 'Laughing Out Loud' till I got a 'rather concerned look' from a person walking by. Your appraisal/response was/is totally brilliant! When you take up Stand Up comedy (if that's not already your profession) - I want front row ... lol.
As for my woe - I will attempt 'Take 5' (x10) tomorrow now ... I look forward to the flashing green light - NOT!

I don't understand your displeasure. Don't you like your two hundred dollar fridge magnet? With the added slow slide down the fridge door function? Personally I love mine. Sometimes when I'm lonely at night I whack it back on the thermie for that comforting green flashing glow of the C584 error message.
If you're ever bored with it you've always got the option of contacting thermomix about this pandemic problem They will be happy to send you a PDF with lots of useful suggestions like turning it off and on again, resetting your router, using a differnt router, trying a different wifi network, tethering your phone, resetting the cook-key, and resetting your thermomix. It really is hours of fun for the entire family.
I gave up in the end. So glad I paid for the cookidoo subscription as well.

I too am having the exact same issue (C584) ... not happy!
Will keep trying over the weekend - otherwise it's going back with a refund request.

We have had our tm5 for 6 days and have used it twice. I went to use it and it came up with an error c153.
Can somebody please help me with what this means?

Mine still doesn’t work. The customer service team just keep telling me to reset it and use different internet connections. I’m ready to send it back. All I have at the moment is a $200 magnet.

Good Morning,
I bought the cook-key, it arrived Thursday. Connects to my router with no problem but just won’t sync with my cookidoo account. I followed the troubleshooting page. No matter how much resetting it’s still doesn’t sync. I’ve tried three other internet connections and get the same error every time. C584.
Anyone else had this issue? Is it fixable?
