The machine does move a little on the bench, especially when kneading. As a rule of thumb, you should always monitor a kneading machine. Do not leave a kneading machine unattended. You may be required to gently guide the machine at times but you should not have to hold the machine.
It is difficult to know the exact reason your machine is jumping around however one option could be because the ingredients are too large when being placed into the mixing bowl. We recommmend cutting all ingredients to at least 3cm, unless otherwise specified on the recipe.

hello I have found that while blending mixing or chopping my thermomix moves quite a lot on the bench to the point when I’m making bread I have to hold onto it to make sure it does not move excessively is there anything I can do to prevent this ?
