Can't wait to try this out.
Added to the list of things I will be trying that looks amazing
thank you for sharing!

Cheets
very clever I like your way of thinking.
Thank you for sharing Orgasmic Chef! KEEP THEM COMING!
Would the chemicals from the plastic bag enter the meat?
Whats the snap lock bag with a double seal??
Cannot wait to try
Hi.
I use the snap lock bags with the double seal.
My steak & salmon has been amazing.
Helpful hint: place whatever protein you are using in the bag & seal all except one corner. Submerge the bag (except for the unsealed corner) in cool water. This forces all air out of that corner. Close the bag and you are ready to go.
Good luck with it
Does one have to use specific types of plastic for sous vide cooking, or would a ziplock bag work since the temperatures are not too high????
CAN'T wait to give this a try when my TM arrives! I ordered it yesterday so counting down the days till I get more creative in the kitchen
Hi (from France) your recipe look's amazing !!!
I saw a tweet a week or so ago from some TM owner in England who said he was going to try using his machine to cook sous vide style (hot water bath method). My brain

working overtime and I couldn't wait to buy a really thick fillet steak and try it out.
I put the steak in the bag and thought, "why not add some teriyaki sauce in there?" and then vacuum sealed the bag and popped it into the basket. I cooked it on speed 2 and 60 degrees for 60 minutes, then tossed it on the hot bbq for a few seconds on both sides. Absolutely delicious and SO tender.
I'd love to explore the sous vide method. It would be excellent for salmon as well. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for this fabulous recipe using the sous vide method. I am going to give it a go. Please keep posting your brilliant ideas. Many thanks Melanie

Sorry, I should visit more often but I don't find a lot of engagement with the posts here. Maybe there aren't enough people or enough people with confidence.
I covered the meat so I can't remember how much but it must have been nearly to the full mark.
Looks Great!! How much water did you use?
