I got a tupperware bread box from the charity shop.

I'd be wary of plastic bags... especially reusing them.

Alternatively you could buy/make a fabric bread bag... i'm sure tipnut.com will have some advice somewhere... worth looking around (just for everything else that's there!)

They say you can keep bread frozen for up to three months.  I use freezer bags to store my bread in.  I either buy a packet of Glad or plain label or recycle the bags I buy my fruit and veg in.  Hope that helps.:)

Same - keep mine in old bread bads.  Otherwise considered getting a tin - is that a wise idea?

As there's only two of us we don't go through a loaf of bread very fast though - so I tend to freeze it and just thaw as required.

Any idea how long you can freeze homemade bread for (especially something like Ciabatta)?

Hi everyone Smile I'm just wondering if you can tell me what you guys use to store your home made bread?

I cooked a loaf tonight and happened to have an old bread bag from a store bought loaf with a couple of crusts left in it so i've used that bag for now (once cooled of course) ... just wondering long term what everyone does?

Thanks in advance
