I think any biscuit would do. I've made Rum Balls with Marie Biscuits. Perhaps use some almond essence in the recipe to give the almond flavour that Amaretti would give.

Hi does anybody know of a substitute to Amaretti Biscuits as used for Rum Balls in the Everyday Cooking Book? I haven't seen them in the supermarket....
