Forum Question about measuring straight into the mixing bowl
Hi qwerky, Do you mean when you have to grate the parmesan first? The only reason you have to remove the parmesan first is that it is best to grate your parmesan when your bowl is nice and dry and clean. You can leave it in while you are cooking as it will stick to the cowl and make a mess on your bowl to clean.
Other than that you dontusually need to take out ingredients once you put them in. I ususally tweak things so i get away with leaving as much in there as possible. I dont like recipes where you hve to take thing ourt and set aside either. It doesnt happen much I assure you. I hope this is what you mean.
It all gets easier with time
I'm a new TM owner and am enjoying my experiments so far. I have a question about measuring. I know I can measure straight into the bowl and then reset each ingredient, but when most ingredients are measured and added (resetting each time to zero), how does one then add another ingredient, such as 50g parmesan?
Does this mean that this ingredient has to be measured and grated beforehand, and then put into another container until needed in the recipe? I thought that I'd be able to just use a chopping board, knife, and the TM, not extra bowls to contain ingredients.
Or am I missing something obvious? Thanks in advance!
