BTW here's link to my recipe collections....I must say reorganising and tidying categories a bit tricky.

I just use "my collections" on this website. You can add any recipe you like and make all your own categories.

Eg... tried and tested desserts, desserts to try, great dough recipes....etc

Plus that's where all my own creations are stored as well.

Of course your laptop or ipad needs to bee in the kitchen Smile

I'm either a tad nerdish or just really organised! Lol  Tongue

I have one file for tried and tested recipes - printed in colour and filed in alphabetical order!

I have one for recipes I want to try - printed in black and white filed in alphabetical order!

I have a file for recipe books - either from my consultant or from the lovely people who post them online for people to use - like the road to loving my thermomix! love them!

I also have another file - But not in this cupboard! Damn the limited room! With how to guides and cheats! And all other little bits that have made my Thermo life a little easier!

I think this is my major nerd moment! I have all files made into PDF!  a file for tried and tested! Another for the recipes I want to try! That way when friends who have a thermy or people I knew who are new to it I can give it to them! And the I upload him to my iPad/iPhone! Never know when you need a recipe! If you want my tried and tested send me a message! But I want you, most are naughty and contain lots of sugar!

I love this website! i have made so many yummy meals! and mostly sweet! Need to look at the healthy or savory stuff next!

But if people have any better ideas about storing rcipes I would love to hear about it!

I found the $5 folder in KMart this morning, hopefully it works until I get an IPad.? Smile

Kmart have a recipe folder for $5 it comes with stickers to name the dividers and blank ones too so you can create your own sections. I tend not to break it up into Beef, Chicken, Lamb etc instead I use Main Meals as a topic so I can flick through the whole section to work out my menu for the week. I also add a comments at the bottom of each recipe about who in my family liked it and how easy/hard I found cooking it.

I love the Kikki K recipe folder. I have 2 now, my original one with "normal " recipes and old favs and my new one for Thermomix recipes.

KiKi K has an awesome recipes 4 ring binder folder called... "recipes" it has hard plastic tabs titled Meat, Poultry, Seafood, Vegetarian, Rice&Pasta, Dessert and Planning. you can also buy blank tabs to create your own like soups, drinks entree's etc. ive printed them out and put them in each category.

hope this helps Smile

Look up the app Paprika and do away with printing altogether. Very clever app and so quick to find recipes in categories you decide.

I put mine in a spring clip folder and have bought dividers to separate - snack, main, dessert etc.

I am a bit of nerd but I would scan it with "DocScanner" app or copy iand paste with my iPad, then I save it in pages on the iPad, then make a folder in pages called Thermomix and put all my receipes in there.   Very happy to help anyone if they want more help.  Paperless receipes.

this is what I would suggest, put 2 printed sheets in a sleeve;) Wink

I bookmark my recipes new folder Thermomix in my iPad then add new folders as I go so I can always look up Cakes,Lamb,Breads etc what ever I need.hopefully this can help you it saves having recipe papers around. Kathy

I print my favourite bimby recipes throughout the net and collect them in a folder. Slowly becoming my very personal worldwide Bimby recipe book!  Wink
