Hi ladies, often it's just a matter of substitution and replacing high carb ingredients with low carb. A couple of easy examples are replacing rice with cauliflower rice (sooooo easy to make in tmx), or quinoa; and replacing pasta with zoodles (zucchini noodles- see quirky cooking). That way you may still be able to enjoy some of your favourite recipes.

Also head on over to the calorie king website. They not only give you the calorie count of your food, but also the protein, carb, fat, fibre, sodium counts as well. They list the majority of food that can be purchased in Australia, but if it isn't listed, you can add it yourself from your food labels. You can also work out the protein, carb etc content of yor meals by adding all of the ingredients and quantities and then saving the meals. Bodytrim may not encourage calorie counting, and that's ok because the site is far more versatile than just calorie counting.

Hi becadamj,

I have had my Thermomix (Mo) for a couple of months now and absolutley love it. I love making bread, pastas, dips, anything really.

This week I too started on bodytrim and was glad to see your post because I am looking for ideas myself.

A lot of receipies can be adapted but I haven't tried myself. I did make the beetroot salad today but just left out the apple I also used parsley. I find some of the receipies I need to change the herbs for my own taste preference.

I would be very interested to hear how you are going and swapping some receipies.

I was thinking of trying a bodytrim curry or even stir fry receipe.

Hello

I have recently bought a thermomix and have made lots of yummy things, but I have just now signed up to bodytrim. I am wondering if anyone else is doing the bodytrim programe and if they have any thermomix recipes. Thanks.
