I am quite new to my thermomix - I've had it about six weeks I think (love it btw!) and having been cooking up a storm.

 

I am also gluten free. So I am making gluten free flour and have found a balance of ingredients I am very happy with. However... I can't seem to grind the brown rice finely enough. My flour works absolutely awesomely - I just use it in any recipe that requires regular flour and so far everything has worked great - but the brown rice is leaving a rather gritty texture. Sort of sandy.

 

I mill the brown rice together with buckwheat at speed ten for 1 minute. I tried doing it for two minutes but it just got hot and damp and didn't get any finer. Is there some magic trick to making brown rice mill as finely as the other softer rices? Or am I destined to have slightly gritty flour from now on?!
