If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Combine sugar, cardamon, cinnamon sticks, cloves and vanilla bean in bowl, 10 seconds on speed 10.
Add ground ginger, star anise and tea, 10 seconds on speed 7.
Store in an airtight container.
Mix 1 tsp of chai tea mix with 300ml of milk (or milk sustitute), 8 minutes, 80 degrees on speed 3.
Strain into a mug. Give the bowl a good rinse. Tip chai tea back into the bowl and mix for 2 minutes, 70 degrees on speed 5.
