Shake

  • 200 grams Milk, (Whole milk, Almond milk or any milk of your choice)
  • 14 ice cubes, (Add more if you like)
  • 1 scoop Protein Powder of your Choice, (I use Isowhey vanilla or chocolate)

Recipe's preparation

  1. Put all ingredients into TM Closed lid starting with liquid then dry ingredients then ice (this makes sure the dry ingredients dont fly away when you blend).

Blend at speed 6 for about 10 seconds.

Scrape down sides of bowl and lid.

Blend again for about 10 seconds. You will see the colour and consistency change to a creamy light chocolate and will be fluffy.

Pour into glasses and serve with spoons.

Tip

The sweetness depends on how much sweetner you like to add in. I used 1 and a half teaspoons of Stevia and it was just right for me. My son wanted it sweeter.

I have also made it with 1/4 to 1/2 frozen banana and it was just right for me also. You could add in dates as your sweetner.

  • I didn't have protein powder

I didn't have protein powder and I altered some of the ingredients to what I had in the fridge/freezer, I.e. Prunes for sweetener, a whole frozen banana and some peanut butter (not healthy I know but super yum with cacao in shakes!), but I wanted to say thank you for the xanthan gum tip!!!! It really makes an incredible thick and creamy texture! It honestly tasted like it was made on real cows milk ice-cream, which was incredible for a vegan shake!! Will be using this from now on tmrc_emoticons.;)
