OMG WINNER - I struggle with my youngest children accepting anything I cook, and I have tried A LOT - this got an all round two thumbs up from everyone! What a relief, now just to find some other recipes this good so that we don't have to eat Tuna Mornay every night of the week. Hooray!!!!

Pretty good. Easy. The flavour lacks a little bit of depth but would be reallyl nice with a bit of parmesan or a strong cheese at the end.

Thank you for this recipe, my family loves this - even my husband who doesn't like tuna mornay eats it. I add some carrots, celery and zucchini to the onion and garlic, just to hide a few extra veg. When the sauce is done I add it to some cooked macaroni, pop it all in a baking dish and add some grated cheese and breadcrumbs on top. I put it in the oven to get a crunchy top and we all go mad for it! Thanks again!

Use the base sauce mix as the base for cheese sauce for potato bakes etc, comes out beautifully thick and creamy

Brilliant!
This was such an easy recipe. I added about a desert spoon of babas curry powder (of skinnymixers fame!), a tin of champignons sliced up and only had a bag of frozen corn/pea/carrot mix which I used. It was a huge hit with our dairy and soy free family (I used almond milk). Definitely going into my 'go-to recipes' collection! Thank you.

Another great go-to recipe,
Another great go-to recipe, the kids absolutely love it. I add extra veggies like celery, zucchini, frozen peas/corn/carrot mix, whatever we have really. Sometimes I mix cooked pasta into it, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and parmesan & bake in the oven, and sometimes I use it to full a cob loaf. It's become a regular in our house. Thanks for a great recipe!

YUMMO - I made this last
YUMMO - I made this last night, with a few slight adjustments, I needed to use up some cream - so 80% of the milk was actually cream, I added a whole zucchini to the onion & I used smoked garlic. I used Chicken Stock instead of the Vegie & 1/2 teapsoon of hot smoked paprika (I could have used a smig more).
I'm sitting here at work, dreaming about when I can eat some more! PS. Served it with Pasta. Hubby loved it & he is NOT a fan of tinned Tuna. But I did use Tuna in oil (drained off most of the oil) - Italian Tuna brand was Callipo (you will never ever go back to the regular tinned Tuna - this is the bomb) - I used 3 x 160g tins.
Yum. I omitted the peas and
Yum. I omitted the peas and corn from the recipe and added a teaspoon of whole grain mustard and 2 tins of tuna. I also added a crumble topping made with gluten free bread, cheese and butter and baked at 200* for 30 minutes.

First time trying tuna mornay
First time trying tuna mornay in the thermi and I'm so happy with the result. Only steps I changed was to add pieces of carrot, onion and red capsicum to saute in pieces so I used reverse speed through the whole recipe. Added a cup of cheese at the end. Trying to win hubby over to the thermi and this made a grear start!!!
