  2. Place the lid and cap on. Chop 10 sec / Speed 7
  3. Pour grated cheese into a separate bowl. 140 g of the grated Parmesan will be used in Step 7. The remainder is extra for serving.
  4. Step 2 - Heat Butter, Oil & Garlic Paste
  5. To the bowl, add 50g Salted Butter (cubed), 10g avocado oil, 50g garlic paste (salted)
  6. Place the lid on (measuring cup off)

  7. Step 3 - Reduce the Wine
  8. To the bowl, add 300g dry white wine
  9. Heat for 5 mins / 120 degrees / Speed 2 (measuring cup off)

Meanwhile, boil the water in a kettle.
  10. Step 4 - Add Liquids
  11. To the bowl, add the boiling water (or hot clear fish stock)
  12. Add the 300g Thickened Cream, 30g Chicken Stock Paste (Cookidoo version) & 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  13. Select Manual Mode: 4.5 mins / 95 degrees / Speed 2 (measuring cup off).

Watch for overboiling - drop the temperature by 5 degrees if necessary.
  14. Step 5 - Add Pasta
  15. To the bowl, add 300g of Fusilli pasta
  16. Cook pasta 15 mins / 100 degrees / Spoon Speed - reverse blade - measuring cup off.

Assist with occasional stirring by placing the spatula in the lid hole.

Pasta will thicken as it reaches the 15 min cook time.

Assist with stirring by placing the spatula through the lid hole until the prawns are cooked through.
  20. Step 7 - Add Parmesan/Parsley
  21. To the bowl, add 140g of the reserved grated parmesan
  22. Add 10g of the chopped parsley leaves & combine with the spatula.
  23. Cook 2 mins / 100 degrees / Spoon Speed (reverse blade) - stirring manually during this time. (Lid off)
  24. Check seasoning - add extra salt if desired.
  25. Step 8 - Serve
  26. Optional Step: Add 60g of Baby Spinach to your serving dish or Thermomix Server
  27. Pour the Creamy Garlic Prawn Pasta into your Thermomix Server to keep warm. (If desired, gently combine the baby spinach). Garnish with the remaining 10g chopped parsley. Plate up & serve with extra grated parmesan and freshly ground black pepper. Sauce will thicken as it rests in the Thermomix Server.

Tip

Use the Browning Pre-Clean mode to help clean the bowl.

Extra Prawns could be cooked in a fry pan and added to the creamy pasta.

Always reheat on gentle.

Alternative protein option: use cooked/chopped or shredded chicken in place of prawns in Step 6.
