      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

Put Feta cheese and sour cream into the mixing bowl and mix 10s/speed4. Transfer into a bowl.
  1. Place cubed potatoes in the TM bowl, mix for 10s/speed 6

Add plain flour and mix for 20s/speed 5

  2. Boil water in a big sauce pan and place a pizza baking tray (one with holes in it) on the top of it.

Place the dough mixture in batches on the top of the tray and use the back of a table spoon in circular mortion to push the dough through the holes. Do this as fast as possible as it takes only few minutes for the gnocchi to be cooked. The gnocchi are ready when they float to the top. Stir occassionally and then strain through a large sieve or in batches.

  3. Put Feta and sour cream mix onto the gnocchi and gently stir in with a spoon.

  4. Fry bacon cubes and place on the top of Halusky as illustrated in the top picture. Enjoy!
