      Recipe is created for
      TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Let's cook!
  1. Add carrot, sweet potato, beans, parsley and oregano to bowl. Chop on (carrot/turnip vegetable setting) Speed 5 for 5-7 seconds. Repeat for 2-3 seconds if needed. Blend
  2. Add mince, quinoa, coconut oil and water. (Do not add oats yet).
  3. Counter-clockwise operationCook on reverse speed 2 at 100° for 20 mins. Remove MC and use simmering basket for this step.
  4. When finished cooking, weigh in 100g of oats and mix with spatula to combine. This will soak up all the excess juice.
  5. Allow to cool in bowl for an hour or so, then portion into container or zip lock bags.

    I get approx 22 x 100g serves

Tip

The mix will appear runny when it first finishes cooking - use the oats to soak up excess moisture. Add more if required.

I use this recipe to get approximately 22 servings of food for our 3 dachshunds (7 days). They have this in addition to dry food in the AM and this meal in the PM.

You could use rice instead of quinoa and you can omit the herbs if you like.

Meat suggestions - turkey, chicken, fish.
