Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

These corn fritters are very good, I didn't have any besan flour, or chick peas to make some, instead I used wholemeal spelt flour. They turned out really well, my husband and I both enjoyed them. I will be making these again. Thanks

The first time I made these I milled chickpeas to make the chickpea flour, but they turned out horrible. The next time I made them using plain flour with some baking powder added and fried in macadamia oil and they are wonderful.

Fantastic results. I was worried because my mixture looked so runny, but they held together very well. I cooked on a slow heat and they look and taste lovely.

These were yummy, the whole family loved them. Milled chickpeas. Served them with avi ado salsa and sweet chilli sauce. Big hit, will make them again.
Nice! I usually substitute
Nice! I usually substitute with besan in all my fritters - nice to see someone else do the same. And use fresh corn, too! forgot to fry off shallot, but was perfectly fine. Added a little fresh coriander to go with sweet potato soup we were having them with - just perfect.
also added 1/2 tsp of baking powder (EDC) for a little extra 'fluffiness'. And fried off in macadamia oil
