  • 25 g dessicated coconut

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place sesame, almonds, garlic, coconut, cumin and corriander into TMX. Cook on 100 degrees, speed 1, 8 minutes.

     

    Take lid off and cool completely.

     

    Add salt. Pulse turbo once or twice.

Tip

- Use to crust meats and veggies for a paleo crumb

- Store in freezer so it lasts longer

- Use kitchen scales to measure dried spices 

 

- Increase garlic to 40g if you like strong garlic taste tmrc_emoticons.)

    This is delicious however did anyone else have issues with the blades getting stuck during cooking? Not good for the motor... I had to grind it then finish the cooking to stop it happening.

    i didnt have all the ingredients and used the wrong garlic so i can imagine how much better it would be with all the spices!

    I love garlic so love the flavour of this dukkhah and it smells so good when cooking with it.   It's the first dukkhah I've made.

    Question - does it keep in the pantry or does it need to be refrigerated or can it be stored in the freezer?  Thanks.
