If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Make boiled eggs per thermomix basic cookbook.

In a large pot, boil potatoes with enough water to cover and boil potatoes just until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain when done, and place in a bowl to chill in the refrigerator. When the potatoes are cooled down enough to handle, but still warm, peel using a paring knife. Then cube the potatoes. Make sure cubes are not to small or you will end up with mashed potato when you mix in the sauce.

Peel and slice hard boiled eggs in half. Place the yolks in a bowl, and set aside the egg whites.

Add egg yolks, mayo, mustard, and vinegar to the thermomix and mix at speed 8 for 20 seconds.

Fold dill relish into egg yolk mixture.

Chop the egg whites and add them in with the potatoes. Gently toss to combine.

Add egg mixture to the potatoes and gently stir to coat potatoes.

    Chill before serving
