Recipe's preparation

    prepare the dough
  1. place the flour and salt into the bowl

Add the eggs and half of the water (60 ml)

Blend on speed 4 for 10 seconds.Scrape down sides of the bowl

If the dough seems too thick add more water, mixing for a few seconds until you reach a thick, slightly sticky consistancy
  2. To cook the nokedli:

In a large pot on the stove ,bring salted water to boil

use a nokedli maker or colander with holes

Place the dough in the Nokedli maker or spoon it into the colander

Push the dough through directly into the boiling water

cook about 2-4 minutes or until the dumplings float to the surface

Use a slotted spoon to remove them and transfer to a colander to drain.

    Serve:

Toss the cooked nokedli with a bit of butter or oil if desired

or serve alongside with your favourite stew, meat,or sauce.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
