      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. Recipe's preparation

  1. Peel and cut potatoes into 2x2 cm pieces.
  2. Place potatoes into bowl with milk and a pinch of salt.
  3. Cook for 15 minutes at 100 degrees, Reverse, Speed 1

    Ensure potatoes are throughly cooked through. Add 1-2 minutes if required.
  4. Drain using the Varoma as colander and return potatoes into the jug.
  5. Blitz on Reverse, Speed 5 for 10 seconds with half of the butter.

    Repeat this step with the remaining butter.
  6. Enjoy!
